Artists and events - Small Venues Project

This page is yet to be reviewed for 2019

Returning for the 11th Year our small venues project proves as popular as ever. The venues we use have a warm welcoming but intimate atmosphere giving the audience the opportunity to get closer to the artists and hopefully become more involved with their performance. With much valued support from Kirklees District Committee for Batley & Spen we have taken the opportunity to make the music we all enjoy available to a wider audience. The venues we will probably be using over the festival weekend include:

Blend Cafe Bar

Methodist Church Dining Room

The Battered Haddock

The Fat Magpie, Albion Street

Miller's Coffee House, Market Street

All these venues serve excellent food so you can partake of a meal, cuppa or a bun whilst being entertained so please try not to take seats from the cafe's paying customers

Please be aware that the space in these smaller venues is very limited and they can fill up very quickly so prompt or even early arrival is recommended.

Details of who is on where can be found in the programme and these will be available from Blend Cafe Bar and The Wickham Arms in
